(2003) 3'x4' stained glass, copper foil and lead solderThis window was a birthday present for my husband to commemorate the centennial of the English soccer team Bradford City. It is now covering a large window in our games room.
The glass colors were picked to represent the claret and amber team strip. The rooster on top of the coat of arms is the team mascot, a bantam.

Hey, a fellow fan, that's so cool! In fact that's how the window came to be. I made it for my husband's birthday during the centennial year as a present. Now it's covering the south-facing window in our games room.
We live in the US these days, so can't attend the games, but he'll still listen to the games commentary on streaming audio over the net, and if we are back in the UK we usually try and catch a game, too!

thats ace, yer there not doing to well at the moment you know you can sign up online though the official site and watch every game home and away allthough i accually go to the games so i dont need to watch them online but some times its good to watch the highlights when i get home.
Yer sometimes i stream the audio off of the pulse of west yorkshire websites if its like a cup game or something that i cant be botherd going to becouse its just the reserve team playing or something.
By the way how big is the window? Its amazing! oh and tell your husband [link] i write for them sometimes and im working on alot of pixel art for there site. Its an unoffical bcfc site.

Wow, that's a really well-put-together page with nice crisp navigation and good layout - I'll send my husband the link. I'm sure he'll love it.
The window is 3 foot wide and 4 foot tall - quite a decent size - I actually had to solder iron rods to the sides to stabilize it.
And as for the club, it's sad... We actually managed to catch the Wembley arena play-off that got them into the Premier league (seems a milennium ago now) But that was magic!!!

umm...no it was the wembly play off that got us into the old div.1 we got automatic promotion to the premierleague we ended up 2nd in the old div.1
the play off against blackpool was in 1996 and we got promoted to the premierleague in 1999.
and now were in in league 1 (old div 2)

Yeah I know. I'm US based these days, but we listen to the games on the internet, and I just want to tear my hair out. And to think they made Premier league once. Sigh! Still, what's a fan going to do? Hang in there and pray, I guess.
