Description (2007) 12"x9" Pencil on Paper

This is my younger brother, his wife and their lovely baby boy that was born to them last year at the end of August. I used a photo for reference that I took last December during a visit.

I love how father and son are looking and smiling at each other, and how the mother provides the stable center of the composition and communicates the joy of the whole family by giving the spectator a happy and inviting smile.
