Description
(2020), 6.5x10.5", Prismacolor pencils and white gel pen on grey paper.
Another shell in what I'm planning to make into a small series. I really love playing with white on dark and using accent colors!
Also, for this shell I'm not 100% sure it belongs in the Angaria family. The horns seem to point to it, but I didn't really find any other shells that had these characteristic paired horns instead of single spikes.

Did sketch a ammonite I got, this morning just in pencil. ItΒ΄s quite a lot of details to take care of and pretty small. Maybe take a picture of a seashell as reference the next time. See you then Elly.

Yeah, I found working from a reference photo a little easier. I think when you look at a 3D object you always change your angle ever so slightly and it can be more challenging to get the shape right...

I got some smaller shells for my hermit crabs... will take pictures of them, theyΒ΄re not that colorful though. LetΒ΄s seeΒ how they come out
