Here's one of the two little piggies Leeloo gave birth to. I nicknamed him Speedy, because he's the vivid one. I fell in love at first sight with the other one, but I have noticed recently he gots a blue film on his left eye, I think he's blind of this one
so sad about it, makes me love him even more. He's so cute, moving everywhere and being happy all the time

I had one, Leeloo, she gave birth to 2 little piggies, but we had to let Speedy go because he suffered a lot from a congenital malformation
So I have 2 guinea pig, but I'm gonna give the last baby to my best friend

Take them to an exotics vet, it might be an ulcer and still in time to save his eye!
One of mine bit the other in the eye and it looked just like this, it turned out to be a benign ulcer that protected his eye from damage.
But HURRY!

He had a congenital malformation that was hitting the cornea of his eye, sadly the pronostic was very bad ...he suffered a lot, nothing to do but let him go

He's resting, poor thing! That must've hurt so much! My poor sickling Gai is still healing from his eye bit!

He was only 4 days, but I loved him so much, it's been very hard but it was also the best thing to do
Leeloo and the other one are great, I'm checking them everyday when I give them the vitamins

I hope the vet was right... if he was you did the right thing and spared him of so much pain...
That's why I only have boars with me...
That's encouraging to hear, provide Leeloo with loads of hay and distraction so she won't feel down (pregnancy and loss are such big impacts for piggies). And all the love for the surviving piggie as well

I worry too much for piggies... I adore my own and I saw one die due to a Mengele-school vet...
They're so fragile and innocent...
Next time please check right away even if it seems obvious what it is (one of mine has diarrhea now and I'm frantic - didn't even sleep well of concern!)

I totally understand, I worry too much for every kind of pets I own. For little Speedy I first tell he was blind of an eye, but at the same time I was checking all the possibilities about this veiled eye !

I'm battling a flea infestion that came with stray dogs and ended in my four kids' fur. Poor things, they are squealing with the ivermectin shots
