Based off an old fic I did a few years ago (guess which one!)... Mephiles gets buried under rubble in Dusty Desert during the boss fight, and is knocked unconscious, so he can't free himself...Team Dark is very shocked at this outcome, and don't know what to do... should they help Mephiles, even though he's tried to turn them against themselves, or just leave him there to die?
Personally, I refuse to believe that Shadow would, if such an event occurred, walk away, because he just doesn't seem the kind of guy to just let someone, even his worst enemies, meet such a fate... I think he'd at least try to dig them out, and see where to go from there...
Wow... a pic where Mephiles is the LEAST drawn part about it... and in fact, he's the glove... that's a first for me in a while...

Shadow looks a bit too tall here, but other than that, everything looks excellent.

It's been a while since I played, but at this point hadn't Mephiles revealed his true nature as a demon who desired nothing less than the destruction of existence itself? I don't think even Shadow would sympathize with him at that point.

i remember this xD when i read it i couldnt stop, then i was on the last one but my mom made me get off the computer and go to bed, so i got my psp and was reading it on that, then my psp died and i got my dsi which sucks on the internet and finished it on that XDDDD. .....honestly i have no idea why i didnt think of just getting my psp charger ...xDDDD but i was determined to finish it that night xD and nice not often you see mephys hand sticking out of rocks~

I told my sister about the fanfic this is based on and she liked it apart from one small detail: if someone is trapped there is normally a hand or foot sticking out. I told her that she was an idiot

They look shocked and surprised... and a little sad on Rouge's and Omega's part. Poor Mephiles, though... Also, I agree. Shadow may not come off as the most kind character, but he wouldn't leave the guy for dead.
