Finally! The story (slowly) progresses. I spent way too long coloring this, and it still looks wonky. Ah well. More to come soon
This started out as a question: what happened to Iroh after the siege of Ba Sing Se? And so I filled in the backstory. What started out as a quick doodle has now become 40 + pages of thumbnails that I'm slowly drawing up. Hope you enjoy!

Nice looking fall of light in the middle panel with a good play of light & shadowed areas. Interesting choice perspective in the first and especially the third panel, though there are some minor areas where things are a bit distorted. Goes well with the storytelling, showing how Iroh is wandering through an area empty of people and where the path is very much unclear.

I do too. It's kinda hard to start a conversation about the story / the art around "wow, that's nice". ^_~
Also, I've had it happen so often that detailed comics set of my thoughts in new and interesting ways...it's like somebody started a firework, and I guess it's the same for you too. ^_^

This looks like a really interesting comic. It has a lot of potential and the fact that we never really learn what happened when Iroh ventured into the Spirit World besides hints adds to it. Well drawn and very much in character. This looks great I can't wait to see more!! I shall definitely be reading it
