Admiral Zhao has a deep, dark secret. Once upon a time, he did not hate koi. In fact, there was a time when he loved a fish. A fish named Goldie. They were inseparable, closer than any pair of inter-species friends before or since. But one day Zhao came home from brainwashing firebender school to find Goldie's bowl empty. He searched high and low, but to no avail.... his fish friend was gone! Finally he asked his mother. All she said was, "I flushed him." Zhao was devastated. With no outlet for his grief, over the decades it turned to rage at all koi. If Goldie couldn't be there, than no fish could!
