I really ought to have uploaded earlier. But other than some slight facial enhancement ...I don't really know what I should do with this picture. Bad habit dies hard nah.... must stop wanting to photoshop so much ~_~
Anyway, many many thanks to my reiko mui for offering to take so many of my photo! Skip beat's not catching up for the local community so I don't get as much attention. Thank ou for taking so much nice piccies of meeee~ *hugs*
I made this costume from scratch myself. It took a lotttttttt of effort to pull it off...and I really thought I was not going to make it. The first time I drafted on the fabric, I screwed up and ended wasting cloth. Then I decided to draft on paper, which thankfully for me, worked.
The colour of the jumper is more Manga based hence the very saturated magenta shade. Its not very colour correct but .... I prefer it the way it is because I think this way, it would be more truthful to its description " Shockingly disgusting". XDD
Fabric used was some sort of fake satin but flipped over hence the slight shine
Sewing on satin with a sewing machine that kept breaking its thread was VERY annoying.Related content

My friend and me are going to do a Skip Beat Cosplay too! And so I'm begging you for some advice: How did you do the overall? It's going to be my first cosplay and I don't have that much skills in sewing. Do you have any patterns? If not, just a few hints would be great^^

Erm..... if you don't have much skills in dressmaking it would be hard to explain @_@||| Sorry...I made the draft up myself so I don't really have any patterns.
If you're not confident in your dressmaking skills, I suggest you try finding white overalls in your area and dye them

Nice! Very Kyoko-like XD I haven't finished reading Skip Beat! yet but I think you got the character 8D And the idea of making the costume with the concept of 'Shockingly Disgusting' (True haha) instead of just matching the color is a nice idea too 8D
