Wow. Just...wow, I honestly can't believe I did this, especially given that my last attempt at space art was this...thing. XD
It's not based on a real nebula as far as I know but I might encorperate it into one of my sci fi stories at some point...
Gimp, default brushes, (especially the 'spark' one) my own photos for texture. One day.
