read all about the contest here: [link]It felt really good to do something in fantasy style again. lately most of my work was school related or just random... I just never found the time to do some CG paint's or other fully detailed art like I used to. I didn't realized I had missed it this much till I started working on this. Can't really explain what it is that makes me wanna do this kinda art so bad... I think its just the kick of seeing the finished piece...
Anywayz, like I mentioned above, this piece was made for a contest by *Losmios

I really like how you set up such a detailed environment in which to see the unicorn. The lighting structure is great -- the sky filtering in from behind -- and the bridge and other rock outcroppings. The scars on the unicorn also make you wonder what's been going on, what's happening now. Really nice piece...

I gotta say that I really like this picture, you are very talented because I can see that you can make realistic landscape, horses, water and the sky and sunlight also looks like it's from real photo. I like the colors you used in this, they make picture look peaceful. And those rocks, i don't understand how you could make them look so real. This pic is truly a masterpiece

All those little details, colouring, shading, the anathomy....
I think my favourite part is that water below (mainly because water is a one hard thing to draw/paint and you did this great).
