im happy with how this one came out.these are characters from my comic 41 STORIES (the comic can be viewed here---> [link] at tankhat). i originally meant for this to be a wrap-around cover with my other characters but decided to do a bunch of these featuring different sets of characters. that means more work but im all about more work!!!!
from left to right its DELROY BONANZA: the badboy yardie who gets his tongue bitten off. OLIO THE SATANIC MECHANIC: a retired yardie hitman who now owns a canadian themed restaraunt. JACKIE WELSH: the main character who has to escape from a 41 story building with a briefcase of drugs attached to his arm. and LOLA CASSEL: a hellcat on wheels who spends most of the story shirtless and mauling people for kicks
the shit on the ground really has nothing to do with anything, i just felt like drawing propane tanks and cigarette butts

We gotta work on your art-bullshit repetoire more, though... When someone asks you what the significance of the propane tanks and so forth are, you gotta BS 'em with a line like, "I feel that the tanks represent the explosive nature of the industrial wastleland that the characters exist in, the everpresent danger of that which people see as the discarded dregs of civilisation and technology suddenly consuming the scene with fire, poison and death. It's an allegory for the story as a whole, really."
Or something like that, anyhow... laugh inside while you say it, but there are people who eat that shit UP, and they often will give you quite a lot of money if they think you're making "a statement" of some sort. Sure, the truth is that you just wanted to draw cigarette butts and shit like that on the ground, but let them think you're some sort of genius...
