Description
The late James Horner surrounded by imagery from my favorites of the movies he's scored.I've focused more on what movies, rather than which soundtrack I like (although Aliens and Titanic rank high in any case.)
Composition wise, this one turned out a bit on the busy side.

A nice homage, James Horner was one of the greats - although IMO he did recycle his themes a fair bit. I thought he did great work on Braveheart, but my personal favourite, and one of my alltime favourite soundtracks, is Krull.

I loved James Horner's scores for Field of Dreams, The Rocketter, Apollo 13, Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III The Search of Spock, The Land Before Time, Patriot Games, Glory, Balto, Brave Heart; just to name a few.

It wasn't until I got older that this guy was the backbone to the music I grew up with in films like "An American Tail", "The Land Before Time", and "Titanic" which is still one of my all-time favorite films. Hearing his music makes my spirit seem to just soar up to the clouds, a sense of adventure, emotion, and family.
RIP James Horner, this fan will miss you immensely.

A Beautiful Mind nearly made it. Great movie with a great score.
The Rocketeer is also missing.
In the end I had to be selective. And I made my choices. No regards for the 'audience' this time.

This is beautiful. The only images I can't identify are the guy with the big square glasses (to the right of the Alien Queen) and the two spaceships just below him.
And if you don't mind my saying, it seems just a tad remiss that there is no Rocketeer featured here.

I agree. From just a graphical standpoint, leaving out Rocketeer, seems a bit odd.
A Beautiful Mind was also a candidate that didn't make it.
I had to be selective and in the end stayed true to what I set out to do - My favorite movies with Horner scores.

I should've recognized batteries not included. That movie has Brad Bird's magic touch.
