Main creds naturally go to Joaquim Dos Santos for the reference images used--and any other individuals who participated in their creation. Interestingly enough, Bryan also cited Joaquim as the one whose idea it was to include that image in Korra's opening and mentioned something about it in the art book coming up.
ETA: Got Sokka lined enough where I could extend my canvas and bump the characters over in prep for Suki joining the fray. Here's hoping I can do her justice!
ETA2: I won't be notifying for every update on this one, but I did want to announce that Suki is in da house! I mean picture! Thing.
ETA3: Lineart. It is completed. So happy. T-T Colors shall be coming soon!
ETA4: Colors started. I'm putting a watermark on this sucker until I can sign it. This will be the last notice until it's done I think.
ETA5: Background's still not completely done, but I thought I'd get this thing up here.

I love how Suki is just... Suki. Like, everybody has geared up in new stuff to be super-cool, but Suki is super-cool with her basic KW uniform, so she was like "Bad for you guys!"

Yeah, I thought for a long time on "updating" her outfit, but I wasn't confident enough in a single idea to go for it. I'd like to know more about what became of her. Plus the KW already awesome.

Haha for the sketch I didn't try too hard on her expression, honestly. Same with Katara--I barely touched Katara's face at all. When I go in and get the lines in place I'll be shooting for a distant expression on Toph.
