So I've been reading a really fun old timey pulp fiction series of short stories by William Hope Hodgson, featuring a character who must be the grandaddy of all occult detective characters: Carnacki the Ghost Finder. The Edwardian style writing and the way Hodgson describes the unsettling situations Carnacki always finds himself in are really entertaining and fun.

If you've got free time I highly recommend reading them, and you can find the original stories around the internet and if you fancy them, there's at least 3 collections by modern writers that expand on Carnacki's adventures. Highly recommended as well.

So here he is, Thomas Carnacki himself with his copy of the notorious Sigsant Manuscript and the fabulous mustache I felt he deserved.
