I've been wanting to make a character book. Nothing special, just I figured that I could make and print out character profiles, put them in page protecters, and then collect them in a binder. I figured this would make keeping track of my hundreds of characters much easier.This is my character profile sheet. I made it so that it would be more interesting to look at than a simple text profile. I also wanted it to have more information than a typical character profile, but still keep it small enough that it would all fit on a single sheet of paper.
Anyone is free to use it if you wish. You're also free to alter it (I realize that not everyone collects the same info on their characters). You don't have to ask to use it, but I do expect you to obey my rules.
1) Credit me if you publish it. (This is not mandatory, but it would be appreciated)
2) Leave my name on it. It's located in the bottom right. (This is mandatory)

This was made in Gimp using a poor sketch I made as a reference.

BTW: The red text just shows where stuff goes. It's not actually part of the profile sheet.
Font: Sans
Font Sizes: 35 and 90
Lines: Used the stroke selection tool in Gimp. Sizes 6.0 px, 9.0 px, and 19.0 px.

spirit: magic (that's what I use it for, but you can use it however you'd like)
resolve: level of determination and the ability to stick to decisions.
endurance: refers to level of physical endurance (for example: how long can you run at full speed)
occup: occupation or what job they hold (if any)
affil: affiliation or which group they are loyal to
DoB: date of birth.
Sorry for the confusion. I know my abbreviations are confusing. I hope this explained them. If you have any more questions, please let me know. :3

But I am also kinda confused about Beast and Dreams, I know what they mean, but am not sure of the implyment (how ever you spell implyment) they bring in the character profile sheet thing

Dreams is for hopes and goals.
Beast is something I use mainly for my characters. My characters have summons and beast signs. You can use it however you'd like.

Kay, also how do you fill out that thing that says speed spirit and other stuff, I tried filling it out and it didn't work

I'm not sure how to explain that. There's a link to an example in the artist's comments that should show you what it'll look like. Generally though, you just load it into whatever paint program you use and color it in. The markings closest to the center are lower levels and the markings nearer the edges are higher levels. I'm not sure I answered that well.

Okay, I don't usually say things like this about other people's writing references, but this is totally awesome. Now in saying this, I have to point out that I, too, have written a Character Profile Outline. I've had somebody post it on their site, and they posted yours with it, and that's how I found this. Terrific job! Don't worry, I'm not going to update mine to copy yours; no need to add even more details to mine. BUT, this is awesome. I especially love how you've got a field for a logo or crest, and all the other magikal fields for shifters, including the personality strength's piechart.

In depth, yes, but you've got yours laid out in a creative gesture. Mine's primarily for storywriting; I can see yours used more for games. You'res just looks better. LoL

I would just download it and then open it in paint and white out the red lettering. Then print it.

Lol. Yeah, the word meaning is. It's just that I made this for me initially and for me "spirit" meant magic. "Resolve" for me meant something more along the lines of the strength of a character's will. You are of course welcome to change this up however you'd like.
