We all struggle with understanding anatomy. Its a lifelong process, Im afraid and I always am always working on it to keep my eye and observational skills in shape. Ive always got a bargue cast drawing going in my studio and attend open life drawing sessions 1-2 times a week. It always amazes me how when I start to focus on painting and skip the life drawing... how quickly my drawing skills decline. It really will be something you always are working on to stay skilled at.

her hair looks like actual sprouts.. ! is that just an awesome effect you do or is that really plant material..?

She is made from mostly prosculpt polymer clay. Yes the materials definitely make a difference, Sculpey is way to soft to hold detail for me on something this small!

shes beautiful! i love the shape and position of her body - you have all the details done nicely, like the muscles and stuff ^_^ very well done, and the hair is also brilliant ^_^
