Description The first of two full-face masks I've made so far. This was made for Halloween two years ago and was worn with matching wings. The face of the mask was painted using metallic acrylic paints and each individual feather was hot-glued on by hand.

I buy plastic white full-face masks from an art supply or sometimes sewing stores will have them...I paint that first with whatever design I want it to have. I also get bags of feathers from the same stores and then it's just a lot of hotglue and arranging...in the other masks case, I also got beads and some christmas decorations, then to get those attached it was also a lot of hotglue. To get the back part, you kind of overlap feathers, hotgluing them as you go and eventually when you do enough of them you get that. Rather tedious, actually.
