If you sometimes feel like you are trapped within your self or standing yourself in the way, if you want something but you are just not able of reaching out and trying your best to get to your goal, if you are a shy person or someone who needs someone who really listens to you...then this drawing is for you.I guess that we all have been trapped somehow somewhere. But there is no reason to give up. There is always a chance to break free, get your chance/goal and to say something. The only one standing in your way is -very often- you.
while easily said its hard work and with a possibility of failing but I rather fail then staying trapped forever. Anyways good luck for everyone in everything you are up to

Why is shyness considered to be so bad?
Most creatures of thus world are naturally shy things.
Why do some people try to "cure" others from their shyness?
What if everyone were bold, extrovert and confident? Would we crave the attention of shy people just for a change?
I consider shyness to be rather pure and innocent, there's not enough of it around anymore.
I'm being picky, but everyone has been brainwashed since birth to be outgoing and brash, loud and sociable. We are told to be this-and-that, but we never ask "Why?"
We always have a choice, be the person YOU want to be, not the person the world expects you to be.

There ...you got me wrong. It is not about being loud and outgoing to fit in its about being closed up into yourself. Like you WANT to say something but are to afraid to say something wrong or not being understood. I know of what I talk I had a hard childhood when my parents got diforced (i was 6 at that time) and after that I nearly stoped talking. It was a challange for me since then. I think shyness is quite charming but sometimes you are just trapped into yourself but you WANT TO BREAK OUT SO BAD not because of what others may say or want but because you want it for yourself to feel comfortable. Thats a different thing.
I think that everything goes to fast these days some people don't get the chance to progress because its like "better" "faster" "now". Some people need more time or just a little gentle push to go on. I needed that push anyways and I am really happy that I have some people around me who push me and some who are letting me grow.

It was not my intention to criticize you or the point you were making,
I just get frustrated when people feel the need to
wholly change themselves just to fit into the holes made by society.

I'm glad you found a way and broke out. I'm glad you're happier now
and can look back on those times behind you and feel improved.
Yes, we need time to grow into ourselves, and time for growing and developing
as a person is rare these days.

Thank you very much! It is indeed a terrible thing but one can overcome it and become stronger. Its a huge task but since I was a child I progressed (and I was really I mean REALLY shy and socially akward XD) and today I am feeling so much better and much moreconfident.

Ja wem spricht es nicht irgendwie aus der Seele... das Leben ist hart XD Ich bin ja als Kind super schüchtern und unsicher gewesen und in großen Gruppen oder bei fremden Menschen bin ich immer noch eher zurückhaltend und ich hab öfter mal Tage an denen ich mich lieber garnicht unterhalten mag. Inzwischen will ich nicht mehr unbedingt irgendwo dazu gehören und sehe alles etwas entspannter und habe sehr viel weniger berührungsängste
