"Anyone can tell me"?
Not to be rude, but... is English your first language?
Because that line is grammatically incorrect... it should read, "Can anyone tell me what the thing is?"
...or if you wanted to style it a bit more, "Anyone wanna tell me what that thing is?"
Also, the line, "As for now, he does not appear to be a danger."
While it's grammatically correct... it just seems entirely too proper and out-of-place. It just doesn't sound like natural spoken English... something like "It doesn't look like he's dangerous, at least for now." would have sounded much better.
Anyway, this kind of odd sounding English makes me not want to continue with the series. Sorry. :/

No, English is not my first language, or rather, it wasn't my first language in 2012. I now live in an English speaking country and I am laughing at this comment.
