I am happy you like it Hahaha people keep asking that. I was just going for the whole mythological idea that 'oriental dragons protect something precious'. I would say its a precious orb that is valuable or does something cool, but I didn't actually make up a back story behind it.. Its kinda also there just to put more colour in the painting, otherwise the green of the eyes looked a bit random

Thanks Yeah, I know what you mean about the gem, it can be a bit awkward if you want to draw them standing. I just had a look at what you did. It is a really good idea!

I've always used a kind of collar or leather strap on the neck of my dragons with the purpose of holding this gem. My pearls are not round, but polyhedral. Oh, and thanks for joining one of my dragons to your favorites, despite being hand-drawn.

I am glad you like it( mostly )! I know the tail is weird. I couldn't really do much to fix that wouldn't take hours on end because of how I did the layers at the start. I had no idea what I was doing in this new program I downloaded. This one was a huge learning curve, I have another dragon in the works at the moment and it is SO much better, I can't wait to release it

I had just intended it to be something valuable looking, as per the typical idea that an oriental style dragon will be protecting some sort of treasure type thing It obviously worked since you assumed it was emerald or jade!

Yeah, it is kinda random though, i figured i had to bring more green into the picture because otherwise its eyes would kinda be out of place in the colour scheme if you know what i mean...
