I am a Heterosexual Christain for Gay Rights. Love is love, and you deserve to marry whoever you love. I notice people use the bible as an excuse for not allowing Gay's t marry, well four things for you:1. God loves you no matter what.
2. It is never stated specifically in the bible that Gays will go to Hell.
3. God looks down on hate, not love, so stop hating on gays and allow them to love!
4. Whatever happened to the seperation of church and state?
It is not a choice to be gay, you just are, or you are not. Did we choose to be straight? No. So stop saying it is a choice, you love who you love. End of story.
My sister deserves to marry the woman of her dreams when she gets older, so I will fight for those rights. My best friends deserve to get married, so I will still fight. Try and fight back I will whoop your ass in that debate. You are talking to the queen of the honors debate team, who belives strongly in this subject, and you will loose my friend.

Just a side note but you don't win or lose debates, as they entirely defeats the purpose of a debate... I think you're thinking of 'arguements'.
[The purpose of a debates is to present your facts that support your idea on a given topic and for another party to give theirs, there is no win or lose, it's a exchange of knowledge/points of view. The purpose of a arguement is to prove yourself right, usually looking worse in the process of doing so]

I really don't get this pride thing... gay pride, mutant pride, lion pride...
Now, srsly... why won't everyone just mind their own business? Love should be free as long as it's sanish (you must admit joggling with terms is dangerous these days... one minute it's all gay/bi/pan/trans fluffy and nice, then pedophiles and zoophiles decide they get a pride too and you simply have no other choice but mass murder)... at a second thought, except for the redneck community members view, love actually IS free... except for the marriage stuff...
in my country we have a concubinage law that applies to all sexual preferences (except for the utterly wrong and illegal ones, ofc). Basically, if you live with the same person for over 5 years and you can prove u haven't been only roommates during that time, you get the same rights as a married couple would... I say it's a nice compromise, don't u?

Ridiculous. Government endorsement of your relationship is not a human right, that's idiotic. If you started your own religion, and you were denied tax exempt status, if you went around saying that the government was suppressing your human right you would be laughed at as the whining idiot you are, and that's coming from somebody who DOES think marriage should be redefined to include gays.

The words "political debate" struck up one of my arguments. There is a separation of church and state, so why should a political figure's religious views on homosexuality have anything to do with whether he allows them to marry or not? Answer: It shouldn't.
