Description I know I am a little late, but I really wanted to draw this. The girl in the picture is loosely based off my sister, who is Gay, but would never be caught showing that much cleavage. Normally I draw in black and white, but color was definatly appropriate for this drawing, but the girl remains uncolored, representing the hurt she has taken from homophobes and others in society that won't accept her for loving girls.

that's a really good picture. i did Day of Silence at my school. what really bothered me were the people who didn't do it and said it was pointless. they said we should be speaking out against bullying gay people instead of staying silent. they didn't even get that that was how we spoke out, by drawing attention to their silence, after we told them. and one of my teachers did something that came off as disrespectful for the event. i just wish people would learn to be more accepting.

every school should recognize it in my opinion. and thank you. my school is very boss. except at football where we had an i-don't-even-know-how-many game losing streak until we won one game last year. yeah, just one. xD
