History:
Early in life, Motoi had to learn how to be just a little more grown up when his parents divorced. His father was tired of his mother, who was never home and only cared about being with her friends for what was almost every night of every week for a long time. For many years he tried to make it work and it ran him into the ground and he basically took care of him and his sister [ Hana ] on his own, until they were both 9, and 10. This would include all the doctor's visits and first days of school and everything a pair of parents would usually do together.
Motoi found himself having to cook for his sister while his father worked and thankfully the food was prepared the night before for simple cooking the next day. His mother just did not have the means and interest to take care of them so she did not fight for custody and soon the family of three moved into a small apartment. It was not uncommon for the two going to school on their own and coming back home with their father still at work.
Getting older and having to stop clubs and sports, he began doing small jobs around the neighborhood mostly errands for neighbors to help pay for expenses at home. Soon he took over the cost of buying food every month to help out his father who would usually have to stretch the paycheck very thinly which meant skipping out on buying meat sometimes. Working hard and even being more focused on his studies as well, he learned to find his balance and own way to cope with the stress that comes with this sort of lifestyle. Reflecting on his previous years of school till now, he wants to try and see if he can challenge himself even more. So far he's learned that just because others aren't directly connected to him, doesn't mean they don't matter.
Personality:
He's the type of person who is usually organized when it comes to the daily routine. His phone has a daily planner and he tries to meet or get close to his time goals. This structure he follows easily sinks into how he handles other daily happenings that concern other people around him. Many who know him by name or not, may even say he is robotic and can come off as easily uninterested in things he may... assume to be a waste of his time.
He usually won't try new things if he feel that what he's got going is working, but it is not unheard of if he does try. It just takes a lot of time and effort to get him to open up his mind since he's always thinking of how to make good use of time everyday and for him- doing something in a new way could waste time or give time.
His father always tells him constantly to watch his behavior because he can be rude in many instances without even realizing it. His opinions and values occasionally clash with others on even the smallest things and it is very hard to sway his thoughts to see things in a better light. His rudeness can be seen on the thin line of being stubborn and many times that line will blur. When he is needed and is asked to do something by someone he respects or makes time for, he is very reliable. There is deep love shown to those who give him their time of day depending on how close they are.

- Hobbies:
- Drawing/doodling, likes to draw little animals in his daily planner or notes to himself. There is also a pile of filled sketchbooks stacked neatly in the corner of his room.. [ Art supplies saved up through a couple months of working and some are gifts from his family ] He likes to draw his own characters mostly in some sort of fantasy type clothes. Similar to the rpgs he plays.
- Rpgs : For some little time he does have he plays games. The systems and games are gifts from other family members, usually his uncle who shares this same hobby and even works in the industry. [ Yes lots of freebies and prizes * - * ]
- Hair: he cuts his own hair and even his sisters regularly. He finds it interesting how different hair falls in different ways off of the scalp.
- Enjoys sweets very much but for him it is usually a luxury or only eaten at a special occasion. He will go to one of those 100 yen shops to buy cheap candies for him and his sister every once in a while..
- Nails are usually always trimmed to his preferred length and hands always properly moisturized.
- His hair is usually up in a ponytail since he prefers not to use products to keep the odd and uneven fluff under control.
- Has a sort of fascination with the Gothic Lolita fashion trend
- His pen name is Gijiri
- Not too fond of most animals but there was always this dog that was following him..

Relationships *
Arisa
Considers Arisa a friend but recently had gone over the line in his attempt to toughen her up. He feels bad but did appreciate her pointing out that he is a 'jerk'. A small step but feels it is safer to avoid any contact with her for a while. 
Homuro
Is childhood friends with Homuro. Met and became friends after frequenting a certain music store as a young child. His father always went and brought him since he is fascinated by instruments. He was more of a listener than a player since he had struggled to learn.
Haru
He finds Haru to be visually appealing to his eye, he finds himself watching him from afar if they happen to be in the same area in school. He doesn't plan on letting him know anytime soon that he has a small crush on him.
Recently feeling less anxious around him. He has even helped in the process of getting the boy a job. The short moments hanging with Haru make him realize that he should try to give his time to people instead of just managing his own.
