Not that they didn't just go Metal Gear Solid on the last episode.. nor went Doctor who in the comics..

The similarities are there though. Smooze is a loveable but disgusting green blob who eats a lot, makes a mess wherever he goes, and lots of people are afraid of him at first. XD
