***PLEASE FULL VIEW***Okay, so I drew this for ~MrGrumpy07 's project on loneliness. I was to draw a picture of myself feeling lonely. I meant for the picture to have a more melancholy mood, but it didn't come out as sad as I had wanted it to look.

Hmm, I think it didn't achieve the affect you wanted due to her posture. She would probably appear more withdrawn if she were more slumped over, fingering the stuffed animal in her hands. Does that help?

Personally I think this picture does have a melancholy mood yet a glimmer of happiness like a the feeling of loneliness does with a person

Adding all those smiling plushies was a great effect. It really brings home the point that you can be lonely in a crowded room, and objects rarely relieve a sense of longing for human contact and friends.
Still, sometime being alone isn't lonely at all.
