Might want to read a book that's not a collection of Bronze Age idiocy.

Fantastic! I have two that are falling apart, though I am not the only one who has read them.

Hmm I always thought that a Bible that's falling apart belongs to someone who is falling apart coz they're searching desperately for answers. But I guess yours is right as well, coz God makes us anew in His love.

I like the typography and color palette that you have used.
Artwork aside, it's a little bit of a shame that a few negative responses have been given here in relation to what it says. A quote is a quote. No one should laugh about what others say. Even if you disagree, laughing or saying it is stupid, dumb, waste of time, incorrect, etc is not coming from someone who is "enlightened" or whatever one might want to call it. We all feel passionate about different things. My passion is to tell people that I'd like to see a world where we can all accept and embrace that we are different. Think about what those we disagree with say, wonder about it. Ask questions openly and without malicious intent. That is my passion. Pass it on! <3

Thanks, I really appreciate it
I agree with what you said. When I come across a deviation that I disagree with I just pass on by, there is no need to leave mean comments. Personally I think that it reveals a person's maturity level, and there are a lot of immature people on DeviantArt. I do hope that maybe a few people at least ponder the things I communicate through my art.
Thanks for taking the time to say something encouraging.

I know someone who has a Bible like this. I suggested that she get a new Bible. Did I do the wrong thing in suggesting that she get a new Bible?

What would be wrong with that? I don't see anything wrong. This quote is simply talking about a person who reads/studies their Bible so much that it is wearing out.

Very good typography in this one. I really like this and it is very true. You are also right in saying people who fight against things like this, haven't usually read or studied the Bible, they are just going off the things people have said. If they have read it, they are reading with a very closed mind. The Bible is the only strength I have, no one is good, not even Christians, we all fail and we've all fallen short.
Thank you for the thought provoking piece.

I find this completely true! Of course, my first thought was "Well, good--- because my bible just recently came apart from the cover!" But really, this is true, and it makes me happy when I see people who spend so much time in the word!

Actually, a Bible that is falling apart belongs to someone who is deluded and unwilling to read something of substance and value.

My Bible is covered in lots of highlights, book-marked, and corner-folded, but I still struggle sometimes. In the business of life, I try to remember what is truly important.

A book of fairy-tales does not a good person make. Just visit a prison to find out where all the bible thumping Christians who abdicate reason to an imaginary character end up.
Good people are forged from rational thought, good philosophy, and empathy.
A book of genocide, infanticide, and slavery isn't the word of god. It's the word of very mortal ignorant old men living in a wasteland whom survived by farming dirt. Let me put it this way. Everything you have is the product of intellect and science. God did not provide. Good men did. They labored, worked, suffered, and died for all technology we take for granted.
THAT gave you the opportunity to be a good person or not. Meanwhile religion fought against every major advancement in human history including the end of slavery.
It's still fighting against equality for gays and lesbians now...

"Good people are forged from rational thought, good philosophy, and empathy." Who determines what is good if it isn't determined by a fairy-tale book? You, me, or some other person? Good become very subjective when left in the hands of imperfect humans.
"Meanwhile religion fought against every major advancement in human history including the end of slavery." That's a new one. You got a valid source for that one? Usually people stop other people for selfish reasons and their own self interests. Most of it is due to greed and inflated egos when it comes to blocking advancement and harming others.
