EDITI made a tutorial on how to make photomanipulations with metal skin and eyes that you might want to check out.

This is perhaps the hardest photomanipulation I've done. I had to look at several metal tutorials, basically take the whole original photo apart, and I'm still not satisfied with the final result.

This is the fourth of my Elemental Eyes photomanips. In Korea, the elements consist of things like metal, earth, water, fire, wood, and air. In fact, the black bars on the Korean flag symbolize metal, fire, earth, and water.

The rust felt like it belonged in the photo- it almost looks like some highly advanced robot that is now out of commission.

Oh wow I can't beleive I missed this one! First of all the dark colours and lighting is what sets the mood for this picture but the seemless edit on the eye and the realistic blood splatter make the photo. I also like how you added the "shine" to the eye even though it's pupiless. In a way this image can appear to look like stone as well. Very capturing picture. Awesome job.

I really like how theres still a lot of detail retainedin the eyelashes but some spots are missing. I also really like the metallic feel of the eye itself and the skin. I also like the red texture on this skin but I would have left it off of the eye because I thought it looks like blood and an eye would wash blood off it. Theres also a spot of the red texture thats trailing into the background at the left joining of the eyelids. You would remove the texture and leave the hair in but I would probably get lazy and take the whole section out. This does look really awesome and its inspiring to do more creative manips.

Well, the red texture is on the eye as well as the skin because it's rust, not blood. It looks like a broken down, rusty robot.

This is really well done, I believe. You really captured that outdated robot look, very reminiscent of the tin-man. I think you did a wonderful job and should be extremely proud of it.
