Do I need to apologize drawing him again?

I don't think I will.

I should be studying really… two exams coming and I'm becoming insane. I just couldn't read. I didn't dare to touch my unfinished drawings because I knew I'd just draw something ****. I started to draw a horse… it never even started to look like a horse. I threw it away. (yeah, the horse didn't by accident become a human being along the way. ) Starter this yesterday evening and it was obviously one of those days I couldn't seem to be able to draw anything.

So, I decided to try something I was sure wouldn't ever work. The reference for this is one of the best pictures I've seen. Just beautiful. I was in bad enough mood to try to make something horrible out of it. But it somehow happened that I noticed I was actually once again having a good time drawing this face… I had thought to draw just for a moment to ignore some other things I should have been doing but actually it did take a bit longer. Euh… A bit. I wanted to leave it be somehow rough anyway and not polish it for months.

As usual, it's a pencil drawing with colour added on computer (and well, I tried to make it a bit better otherwise too, but still like I always say: nothing has been drawn on computer)

Drawing this made me happy. It doesn't mean there wouldn't be anything wrong with the drawing. I guess it has much to do with the fact that drawing a human face is still a huge challenge for me. Depp's face is full of details that are hard to get right – and they need to be very close to right that the drawing would look like him at all. This turned out nicely enough which surprised me. Not as beautiful as it should be.
