Last by not least: my own black beauty again.
She's not just pretty but witty as well. The beauty and the beast packed all together in a wicked way. Look at those eyes and know there's quite a mind behind them. She knows what she's worth.

Thank you. Makes me quite emotional to see this picture of her, as it's years old. My queen is still around though, 13 years old in a month. Has lost none of her beauty, intelligence or attitude.

my french bulldog is 13 years old too. It breaks my heart to see his white face and his big eyes. Someday I will have to say goodbye and I fear that it will kill a piece of my heart.

I came close to losing mine a while ago and altogether it's been a rough year for my queen, but she's got through the worst and now I hope I'll get to keep her for some time still. What has been bothering her has been back luck, not old age, so with better luck we might have a few more years. But you're right, it's going to be devastating to lose such a good friend, no matter how soon or late it happens. I hope you're still going to have many happy times together with your dog too.

She is gorgeous (sp?) I have a black male toy poodle, but I keep him clipped short as we're in Florida and it's hot as Hades here. I always love to see toys in full coat...so regal and lovely. You have a very fine specimen of a poodle.

lol, I'm not sure which either! I'll make the glass half full though: maybe they mean to compliment both you and the dog. As in, wow what a beautiful dog, and that you don't look like a prissy girly girl (since some people associate poodles with snottiness). Maybe.
