Description ... the phantom alone in his cold blue world.

A quick pencil drawing (a light touch of colour added on computer) ... but still I rather like it. So, next guess is that no one else likes it then.

Wow great job with this! The ambiance is perfect, and I love how you did all the different textures, like the mist coming from the water, and then the rocks. The lights and shadows are just fantastic!
I read on your gallery description that you haven't seen the musical yet; I hope you get a chance to do so soon!!

I'm afraid the closest I'm going to get to the musical is having watched the recorded version of it from the Royal Albert Hall. I simply live in the wrong country and travelling somewhere just to see a musical isn't really possible.

That's a really lovely piece. Making it blue-ish was a great choice, it transmits the loneliness and melancholy Erik himself must be feeling in this particular moment, altough we cannot see his expression here. Good job!

A beautiful drawing. The effect of the water and the darkness really does lend that feeling of damp murkness in the opera depths. I remember a very similar picture from the latest movie, but I like yours far more.

This has its references but it's not straight from one picture... main thing was to leave Christine out of the picture. And well, to change the atmosphere quite a lot, too...

Thank you. It was just that I so often have the feeling when I submit something I like myself, people do not like it that much... and when I submit something I'm not too sure if I like too much at all, people like that very much. It's just weird sometimes.
