Yes, good for sure))) I don't why but i like Silver fang more, maybe because of more complicated plot and less girl stuff, like flashy handsome wolf boys, it's not that i hate it, i actually do like it. I just didn't like the fact that main characters were seen more in human form than in their wolf's form. It kinda pissed me off a little bit, like they were in their human form even if that was not the necessary. I just don't know why, if it was a live-action tv series with live actors i would have understood since using real life wolves (or dogs in that case) or cgi technology is not a cheap business, but it's a freaking ANIME series, you can draw just anything without spending the extra cash. Or japanese folks just don't like looking at gorgeous beasts and prefer to stare at bishonens instead? (And why the hell lots of anime show animals like some kind of freaking plush toys (animators actually do draw animals properly in some cases but still... not all the cute chibi fantasy critters turn out looking "cute", plus some of them can be really annoying sometimes) I'm sorry if was a little bit rude here, it's just pisses me off so much.

I wanted to see them more in wolf form too. I did not get the back-and forth switches. Sure if they where in a city they would need to be in human form but it was a bit too much.
A CGI version of WR would be awesome as well as Silver Fang.

Well, CGI version of Silver Fang wouldn't probably look good in live-action movie setting since dogs are the main cast of the story. But as 3D animation... I would love to see it. But you know, 2D version has it's own charm, i don't think that 3D will look the same, it would probably have it's own unique style of art.

Well, unfortunately it will always remain in our dreams, Silver Fang is not quite popular series in Japan nowadays and you know that japanese anime companies will never continue the series unless it's popular so nor 3D neither the other continues will accrue in near time (unless some fans decide over-wise, and still they'd probably have problems with copyrights and stuff) But you know, anything can just happen, so we'll see. I didn't read the whole series but I read a little bit of Orion. (I don't know why, but he's one of the most annoying characters in the series IMHO)

I see, you know what, when i saw wolves in Silver Fang i thought they were just another dog pack. Because (shame on me) the artist author is so bad at drawing wolves. Heck, nearly all of his dog characters look nearly the same (they all look like damn Akitas with their round heads, short fur and bulky bodies). And Cross... damn, Cross happens to be a Saluki dog, why the heck she so stout when she supposed to look thin and slinky? And then there are her and Ben's puppies. Geez, i've never seen such a lazy offspring visual concept art since freaking Lady and the Tramp. Is THIS how Saluki and Great Dane offspring should be looking like? Like the damn copies of their parents? Okay, i admit you cannot fully know how the mix breed puppies will probably look like, but you can at least turn on your imagination for a little bit. And btw how nearly all the survived main cast are still alive and more importantly still able to fight and kick butts after like 14 YEARS! (Well, if they meant it in dog years, which would basically be 2 human years, it's okay) Sorry again for such rudeness, I just pissed off a little bit again)))

Ha ha ha yeah. I must admit I like his style but a little more variation in the style or rather character-design would be nice. I would not have guessed Cross to be a pure breed Saluki. But no they would not look like purebreeds. Ken looks a little like a mix in GDW. But Sakura ...I could not tell if she was supposed to be a Kishu or an Akita. Smith is a No-brainer and John as well.
Ha ha ha yeah that bothered me too. I was like: what? R u f.n kidding me? Even Gin would be a very old Akita. Ben, Cross, Akame would be to old to move properly. Moss and even Jaguar- Being big dogs they have a shorter life-span than smaller dogs. I would have been absolutely fine with a two year spann but 14 years since Akakabuto: nope. They could have had a peace-full existence and call it a peaceful home even in two years. Two years is a long time for a dog.

Yes, I like the art style too))) Love the way the artist draws dog with their bulky muscular body shapes))) They look gorgeous that way, just like the ancient Greek sculpture animals))) Although i found it a little bit funny, that the character's face expressions look pretty similar in many scene and their mouths being open all the time and stuff. I known that dogs do not express their emotions through their faces too much, thus it would be much more realistic that way, but i just found it a little bit silly anyway. XDXDXD
I thought Sakura was also Akita... until i found out she's Kishu mix. Yes, you can easily tell that John is German shepherd and Smith is French Spaniel (sort of). But Shukokus... Sure i admit they have pretty decent and good appearance, but i personally think the look more like spotted hyenas with their spotted bodies. Real Shikokus do not have any spotes, so i thought they were some kinda other mysterious ancient dog breed which used to be presented or even still exist in Japan.

Damn, my mistake, the author did it all right. Koga clan dogs are not basically Shikokus but rather a breed of their own, they're rather wild mixed breed dogs living in mountains, like Australian dingos, but they still have Shikoku genes and blood in their veins. True Shikokus showed to be mostly accurate in the manga though. Same here, i didn't know cross was a saluki until it was said she is latter.
