such puffy clouds. Amazing color. What do you do to edit your images? Do you crop/sharpen/saturate/desaturate?

Thanks, I'm a color FIEND.
I usually use three or four different programs, each serves it's own purpose.
I often do a number of things and for this particular shot I think I probably used corel and lightroom for color, tone and clarity (corel has a neat clarity filter), and photoshop for sharpening, layers and color isolation (which is what I'm assuming I did to the color of the sky - isolate and tweak).
Hard to say though, I may have used a layer of soft light or something as well, maybe not.

Great shot! The picture is so neatly divided and there is so much negative space at the top that it's almost interesting in itself. The clouds work so well, I almost wish there could be more

Ummmm... Some blending layers. I think I might have used 3 different programs for different things so I could avoid doing too much to the photo.
Some programs don't handle noise as well as others
Thanks for commenting!

It has like four different, amost rectangle areas: the green (grass), the yellow (wheat?=, the clouds and the blue sky in almost perfect proportions. I like this square one more, than the other.

Wow, you have a good eye. You noticed many things that I did not.
I don't much care for this shot, lol.

In one of my former lifes I used to be a scientist in geology (didn't I tell you? Yes, I did). First of all in this business it is important to watch very carefully for textures and structures before you can understand them. Thanks, anyway.
