My first couple cracks at an old flame. Takes me forever to get the feel of a character. Some of these are from reference, but usually after a couple attempts I try to wing it. For me its all about being "on model" but without directly copying anything. eventually.

As previously mentioned in another deviation, Teddy Ruxpin is a long lost love of mine. I watched it as a kid, but never got to appreciate its ambitious continuity until getting a bit older. There were many tapes recorded by my mother and grandmother, but none in any kind of order.

Now, as much as I liked Teddy, Tweeg and LB were the real stars--even when it came to the books. The drawings of them just seemed to pop out from the rest-- I remember being very young and often going back to this particular book . See, Tweeg...has mother issues. I always felt like I could relate. LoL
