(After losing to Nariko)

Nariko: Aw what's the matter couldn't take the heat?

Kratos: Get the hell away from me you little freak

Yeah, but they'd still argue a lot, even if they fell passionately in love with each other, Kratos is too proud to admit when he truly cares for someone and Nariko would NEVER let a man talk down to her for ANY reason.

Ok, I need to clear the air about something. Kratos is NOT a sadist or a PSYCHO. Kratos fought for his country before he served aries and then fought for his life and salvation when he began serving the gods. That does not make him a sadist. A sadistic individual kills and injures for the enjoyment of watching other peoples' suffering. Kratos didn't do that. Anyway, I've watched these two very closely and there could be a storyline with the two teaming and possibly settling down to start a family. Despite the heavenly sword draining Nariko and Kratos' continuous nightmares. But that also can be rectified because the two can help each other with their problems. But this whole thing with Kratos being a sadist is getting out of hand. There's always a method to the madness.

A guy that kills his own wife and dad seems pretty psycho to me. He even fights himself at one point. Psycho.

first off he didnt kill his wife on purpose, and even after he did he still regrets it and its the main reason for his nightmares
and second his so called father betrayed him and killed him, so i think revenge is in order there

In other words, Kratos it's not that Kratos IS the problem, it's just that he HAS problems!... LOTS of problems...

Kratos would win against Nariko. But they would make a good teamup.

Yeah, right. A team up of a beautiful young woman with a ruthless psychopatic sadist who has more testosterone than 3 SPECNAZ squads. You don't like that Nariko, do you

Yeah, the simillarities are striking. Both on conceptual and purely visual level. Cruel warlords thirsty for power... mortals wanting to become gods...

Isn't the Raven Lord from the HS Animated Series just like Kratos before he started to serve Ares?

And that Bohan guy. Doesn't he - for instance - have a vertical scar through his right eye?

There's lots of such things in HS.

Been thinking about it and here are explanations that seem probable:

- the creators of HS deliberately stuffed their game with references to God of War, deliberately reversing some roles, and so on.

- the main ideas of HS were originally supposed to be included in the GoW franchise but have been rejected.

Okay, why not, but as I said - the team up of the two might be a bit problematic. Just as its opposite. Any ideas for the main plotline of your crosser?

Nariko's neighbourhood seems to be Oriental. But don't you think such plot would be, well, trivial? I mean, wouldn't you play a game with a decent story and not one where the plot is just an excuse for fighting?

Fucking "each other"? Hm. Guess only one side would be fucked. IMO, considering his personality and reaction pattern, Kratos would rape her and kill her. And then maybe rape her again. Or first kill her and then rape her. After which he could only rape her corpse a few more times 'cause a dead read-head could not be killed again.

Hahah. You pretend to be younger not to make your mediocre "artwork" look childish? Yeah, quite logical decision.

Anyway, I didn't bother to take a look at your profile before I wrote my previous comment. You simply have a mentality of a kid and that's what I was referring to.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ingridarcher In reply to nemertes [2008-03-06 15:32:50 +0000 UTC]

Only makes you a bigger idiot. You could call me a kid and I could have been in my 30s for all you knew. A 3-word sentence isn't enough to judge an age, unless "i wuz takkin' leik dis!!!11"
Kratos fucks plenty of bitches and doesn't kill 'em. He doesn't need to rape chicks. That's what makes him hardass and not despicable.
If anything's childish it's your lame joke about necrophilia that you beat like a dead horse, and the fact that a person in their 20s doesn't know how to spell "redhead" correctly.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

nemertes In reply to ingridarcher [2008-03-06 16:15:12 +0000 UTC]

A 3-word sentence is not enough, that's true. Usually. However sometimes such a short sentence is more than enough to reveal one's way of thinking and its childishness. That's how it was in your case.

So, you've actually taken a look at my little stories? Well, well, who'd have thought

Unfortunately for your theory concerning my humble person; the joke about necrophilia is not mine. It's a well known.... military joke. A classic one, so to speak.

I've heard it plenty of times from various soldiers who were from various units and came from different countries. But then soldiers are peculiar people.

Looks like you enjoy tough language. All those fucks and bitches.... does it make you feel more confident and strong? Does it give you an illusion of control? Autosuggestion - a nice thing

As for my spelling; yeah, of course. That's an example of a mature, well constructed argument delivered by a mature person. A typo

As for Kratos; yeah, there's plenty of sex in his life. But how come you're so sure he doesn't kill women? Actually, he's killed plenty of them during his spectacular military career Including his wife and kid....

You say he doesn't have to rape anybody. Well, true, chicks and guys are all over him. But that's irrelevant. He's not a Maximus/ Marv/ Marcus Fenix type. No. He's a ruthless psychopath and an exceptionally brutal sadist. In other words, he likes it when it hurts ya which means he doesn't have to rape anybody to have sex but... he likes doing it

ingridarcher In reply to nemertes [2008-03-07 07:36:32 +0000 UTC]

I don't know what stories you're talking about, I was talking about your initial comment. But if you post "stories" on dA then that explains a lot. Though, as a 'writer' (and I use this term loosely) you should recognize that the remorse Kratos felt for accidentally murdering his wife and child are what drove him to gain forgiveness from the Gods, by any means necessary.
And it clearly wasn't a "typo," you couldn't have snuck that a in there by accident, you just didn't spell it right.

Also, fucks and bitches.

nemertes In reply to ingridarcher [2008-03-07 09:30:40 +0000 UTC]

My initial comment? Oh, I see. You refered to a necrophilia "joke". That misled me. 'Cause I wasn't exactly joking about that corpse raping

I'm not writer and I never considered myself one. I'm more of a polemicist, in fact. Still, it doesn't take neither a polemicist nor a psychologist to notice how contrived some parts of GoW plot are. Contived meaning not credible. Seems like you bought the whole story, though.

Murdering anybody "accidentally" in a hand-to-hand combat must be pretty difficult. Especially in a fairly big, brightly lit room. That Kratos surely is talented. Or the story writers are

If the man was operating an M4 then sure but an accidental kill performed with those oversized Blades of Tasteless Kitch, even if their reach could be extended by the chains... guess one either sees the absurdity of it or not.

Anyway, the man was not looking for forgiveness. Forgiveness was what he got.

The problem is that considering who Kratos was his family related PTSD seems very unlikely. In other words, it's just bullshit.

As for my spelling; well, if the idea that I really do not know how to spell the word "red" makes your day then be my guest. But if you ever feel like decreasing your ignorance - get familiar with some basic neurolinguistic concepts (by neurolinguistics I mean the branch of science and not NLP).

Haven't played HS but have seen some stuff on YouTube and I'd say the two are very different.

The fact that psychopaths don't fall in love - at least not as non-psychopaths know it - aside; those ultra-macho Special Forces tough guys quite often choose to be with women who are their own complete opposite. Namely, delicate, submissive and meek house-wife type.

But then y'know what they say - the opposites atrract
