So this is something I did in my Senior Year of High School- and yes, its color!
This is a balsafoam project that had to be carved, so the window does go in and the person is further out than the walls, etc. I LOVED how this piece turned out- colors and all!

You have a really nice composition here... and also, the fact it is "3D" (you know what I mean) makes it really special. It sure looks pretty amazing in real life! (as it does this way, pity the depth is a bit lost...)
