Thanks so much. Yeah the original's shadows looked really bad I don't know what I was thinking when I posted it.

I saw them in concert. It was wild, people crowd surfing, one guy fell on top of me and knocked me down (He kicked me in the head though *Ouch*). Then Jared Leto jumped down into the crowd 5 feet away from me and all the girls ripped of his shirt and I think I fainted.

Yeah, I stay away from giants because they are more difficult for me. But I plan on doing a lot more giants in the future now.

Thank you so much. Did you see the picture originally, it looked like crap! I had to throw away that thing and start from scratch and I figured out a little trick to make the shadows better.

Well, to make the picture better, what I did was cut out the area where I wanted the shadow so it was white space. Then I took the original background image unedited and changed the lighting of that picture to make it darker. Then I pasted in the giant scene with the white shadow area and then making white transparent allowed the darkened background to show through and give it the shadow effect. Then I airbrushed a little bit to smooth out the edges and that's it. My process sort of evolves as I go with it.

I did the cropping and pasting for everything in the photo in microsoft paint, and the light editing in picasa. I don't use photoshop... too expensive.

Hahaha yeah you should probably wear a shirt. Thanks, I wish I had photoshop for this one because I had troubles with the shadows, perhaps I can get some help from a photoshopper.

Oh gosh, I'd freak out if that happened. Then I wouldn't be able to decide if I would enjoy the situation or freak out some more!
Pft my mom teaches photoshop so you'd think I'd know how to use it, but alas, I'm much better with traditional art XP
