AAAAH *small heart attack* ;3;

Goodness it’s awesome to see him AGAIN ;3; I’m quite surprised you still continue the by now ‘small tradition’ of re-drawing this big boy of mine ;u;

And gosh how you have improved again this past year. And I’m not solely referring to how you draw Daniel but I just scrolled through your gallery and that’s proof enough of how much you’ve grown c: Shading, poses, detailing… those all catch my eye :>

You have a very own way of drawing him and heck it looks majestic. I especially like how you have drawn his mane here with the almost fan-like shape of his red sideburns ;u; And you have made the long parts look so silky <3… There’s almost a ‘rhythm’ or pattern-like look to how you have drawn the back of his mane as well, I love it :3 It’s that kind of look I often also see in art of dragons with their almost rhythm/pattern-like scales and perfectly arranged fur, something that always gives me more of a feeling they are regal ;u; I hope you know what I mean by this <3

And his horns look fantastic too! I like the detailing of the shading on them and how they really do seem more like smooth black rock or maybe even black crystal : D I”ve been implementing the idea of dark crystals more in his story and design lately so that’s a perfect match to the look here ;u;

I also really dig the blue energy-like streams at the corners of the piece <3 I’ve long said goodbye to Daniel’s flame shaped powers because there’s so much fire-powered wolves around these days XD I’m happy to see you have chosen to go for a more energy-like shape as well ;u;

And that signature toothy grin of his in this form , you captured it very well yet again <3 And I like the emphasis on his strong/long canines here !

You even included the purple glow to his eyes, showing that even this body can’t contain whatever’s swirling deep inside the deep dark pit of this part of his being ;u;

I still have no idea what I did to deserve so many amazing drawings of Daniel over the past years, but the description is giving me a hint ;-; And it’s super flattering <3… I’m just happy to read that I still remain to be an inspiration to you! I hope I can maintain that story telling in my drawings, lately I feel a bit out-of-touch with how I used to draw and I’ve silently been hoping it doesn’t affect the story part too much xD
