Description
Acrylic on canvas board, 10x12.Of course, this picture is horrible and really doesn't do the painting any justice. Do you have any tips on how to take a better picture? What do you folks do to submit it digitally?

hehe... well, I guess that can be annoyed. Like, the other time, for a whole week, each day, the same piece would appear on my devwatch..!! That was weird...

Make sure you've got really good lighting when you're photographing artwork, that's the key really. Whatever lighting you've got it in is gonna change how the picture turns out. Whether the lighting should be warmer or cooler depends on the subject matter & whichever your prefer. Just flood it with however much light looks best through the camera then play around for each piece. For this particular one I'd suggest perhaps a bit more light just in general & slightly warmer lighting. Also, when taking the photograph make sure the camera is very stable and you take the photo at a direct angle. What you have here is decent, but it does look slightly fuzzy/off.

I wish I could give you advice on how to get a better photo, but I think ~imrandomlikethat209 has that covered. I can't wait to see a clearer image of this piece now that you have some direction!
