Well, that's funny, because even if this scene takes place in the first game, this is drawing is just a redraw of a picture that you can see in the first cutscene of the second game; youtu.be/R-Dvcn0E45s?t=1m15s
But instead of drawing in a cartoon style, I wanted to try painting. And I had a lot of problems. I started this a few weeks ago, and I wasn't happy with the shading. I asked some friends what were they thinking about that and it turned out that it was better if I just re-do the whole shading.
So meh, I'm ok with this result. o3o

Bah c'est marrant, parce que même si la scène prend place dans le premier jeu, ce dessin est un fait un "redraw" d'une image que vous pouvez voir dans la première cinématique du deuxième jeu; youtu.be/qR7C6o12Q48?t=1m13s
Mais au lieu de dessiner dans un style cartoon, j'avais envie d'essayer du painting. Et j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes. J'ai commencé ça il y a quelques semaines, et j'étais pas satisfaite des ombres et lumières. J'ai demandé à des amis ce qu'ils en pensaient et il s'est avéré que ce serait mieux si je refaisais toutes les ombres et lumières.
Donc meh, je suis ok avec ce résultat. o3o

It's pretty tough trying to do a piece that's pretty....um, "fiery"? Well, it sure is hard, but the hellish nightmare of the scene, especially for Sly, is really well captured here and the glows of the volcano and it's light on Sly and Clockwerk is really call. Visually adds more intensity to the scene

Il y a un 4ème qui est sorti après des années d'attentes sur PS3, mais ce n'est pas le même studio qui l'a développé. Il a des bons points, mais aussi des (très) mauvais. <:I

je pense qu'il manque un petit peu de lumière et d'ombres comme tu dit (par exemple pour les yeux de clockwerk, je les verrais plus lumineux) sinon ça reste joli.

You did great painting, how often do you paint your art instead of drawing

Ah well, isn't drawing and painting kind of the same? XD
But well, first of all, I don't know if you noticed, but this is a digital painting. Not traditionnal. I don't have much patience with real paint in fact. I either put too much or not enough and I can't wait for it to dry. XD
So to answer the question, I started digital painting very recently after a teacher showing us a technique for that.

I like the style that you used for this drawing, in this way looks more impressive and sinister
That was my favourite boss battle in Sly's games, the music, the gameplay and the scenario were really good UwU
