Just a wee something I did for school.

Depicts my town (Castlewellan) in the future. I made up a wee story as I was drawing it too.

Sometime in the future, humans find a way to Terraform other planets for colonization. Their first stop - the Moon. The mission seems like an outstanding success at first, however, as months pass, more and more errors arise and suddenly, humans realize the sad truth - they miscalculated. Instead of stabilizing at the desired stage, Luna's burning core kept growing without stopping. The gravitational pull between Earth and its moon grew each day. In a last ditch attempt to survive, humans constructed thousands of spaceships and left Earth in search for a new home. The cities were soon overgrown by trees and plants, the planet trying its best to restore itself to its former glory, to a state before the ascension of man. However, it is too late.

Great job! The story reminds me of Avatar a little (with the colonization of other planets).

Just so you know this is insanely good!!! There are so many little details that you must have had to manipulate to make this look real. Nicely done!!!

A while I suppose, but I spent 2 or so years doing avatars and sigs and what not.I started doing 'big' stuff maybe a year or so ago, but seeing as I only do like one serious piece a month,I'm not improving as quickly as I could and I'm not attracting that much attention, lol i seem to have constant artist blocks.
