Dear emilygolightly, i wanted these words to last forever in my mind so i was wondering if i could get them tattooed to my back... it's fine if you're not alright with it though just pondering

It's not ever enough, you're right. You must completely and totally lose your mind before whatever deity in control of lost love is content to let you be.

Brilliant! Your imagery of languish is devastating and bold. Quite a contradiction, I know.

This is wonderful:
'i have
to tattoo D A R K B I R D
inside my lip and stand
in children's playgrounds
like a broken arm, creaking.'
Who am I kidding; it's all great. Beautiful.

That means a lot coming from the person that wrote a poem that could make me feel that way.

I agree with someone above about the lack of capitals, which is like ... some sort of trend now ...? I think ee cummings was able to do it accurately because he was doing funky lineation/line placement stuff, but I never understood why people did it without any of that...?
Just my personal nit.
Anywho, did love the poem. I like seahorses lately and a name ... ha. To name your children odd things, I have played with that before. I read something in the news recently about someone who named their child Adolph Hitler, just "to be different." I almost believed that, until it said their other kid was named "Aryan Nation." Haha WHAT.
Anyway, liked the poem much.

I love the seemingly random qualities of this. Things that stab and thrust the emphasis of your words into unknown, but appropriately awkward and imaginative, settings.
Congratulations. You definitely deserve the DD.

I am amazed at the raw emotion dripping from this piece. The images contained within your words are brilliant and heartwrenching.
There are too many good lines here for me to list, and so I will simply say that the whole thing is wonderful.
Congrats on your DD.

I really like it. It...fits. The only thing I don't like is the lack of capitalization, but that's only because I'm anal like that.
Good job ^_^
