Description yep...still messing with my eyes...some things just never get old I suppose.

my eyes aren't this blue and my hair is not pink...it's all photoshop yay photoshop
hee hee, I just noticed on full view it looks like I have swimmingpool eyes. Maybe I should ad in a little fishy or mermaid...or maybe it'll be my next project.

wow, i wish I could do that with photoshop I've always wanted blue eyes and pink hair, well atelast blue eyes and blue hair. TEACH ME

It's really not hard once you learn some basics. This actually was one of my earlier (but favorite) ones I did. My hair is blond so changing the color was simple, I just used the overlay setting for my paintbrush, same for the eyes. If that doesn't work so well, you can open a new layer, paint on it where you want the color and then change the layer type(bottom right menu on your moniter, drop down menu is at the top left of that baox) to overlay or screen, I just go through the list to see what looks best. If I accidentily painted too much I just erase what I don't need or use a layer mask. hope this helps a little. Not sure how much you know about the program

Not only are the colors perfect, but your use of space is, too! The black emptiness really adds effect. The shadows and dapples of light on the face highlight the almost-smiling, aloof expression... ahhh! It's so very pretty.

Do you just use the lasso tool then change the hue/saturation/etc of the iris?

no I find that makes the edge to sharp. I actually just ad a new layer use the desired color with a soft brush and then change the layer setting, I think it usually ends up on multiply or overlay. if some of my color goes into the white of the eye I just use the erasure with a soft brush to keep hard edges away and viola...pretty simple actually.

So many different ways to do things. ^_^ most awesome. I'll have to try it your way. I downloaded some kinda of thing (words escapes me, atm) her eon DA on how to make really awesome eyes.... but it confused me. Damn my photoshop skills!

well thank you for the watch I've tried some of those tutorials and I'd like to think I'm pretty decent at photoshop but they confuse me most of the time as well. you have to know what tools they're talking about and I'm just use to clicking buttons until I get what I want. My boyfriend breaths over my shoulder like a drill sargeant half the time, it's the only way I seem to advance.

hey thats a wikid shot and the colours are cool - i just put it to you though, have u tried making the hair white - so desauturate the area of red so it is a bright wight - this with the blue would be sooooooooo cool however it is also wikid how it is at the moment.
