Description I love the Kikwis of Skyward Sword. So much. They are too adorable. The noises they make, especially Bucha (the elder) make me giggle every single time. I particularly like his questioning "Kee-Kwee" and his "Shoooo!" noise. I now randomly make those noises at my family.

In a burst of inspiration (I haven't made something from clay in a long time), I made every Kikwi except the Hermit, who may be made later. My brother got a really cool little portable white box to take pictures in, so I decided to try it out. I put in a random tree from an old Barbie zoo play set to spice things up. The grass is a fuzzy blanket.

I really like how this came out. I might upload a size comparison shot later, because the smaller Kikwis are only a tad bigger than a penny. Originally, the small Kikwis were going to be the just a little smaller than Bucha ended up, but I wanted to be decently accurate to the sizes when they were compared to each other. I realized Bucha would have to be gigantic, so I decided to go a different route.

See Lopsa, the one with the grass crown-looking thing to the far right of Bucha? His face was the biggest pain in the butt to make, because getting a thin enough piece of clay and being able to place it was a major hassle. But I'm very pleased with how they came out.

Haha, thanks! I was feeling very inspired when I made them. Things usually go well when I'm in that kind of mood.

Really? Awesome! I actually had two of those play sets. Part of my first one was missing, so the company gave me another one free.

It's always great to get on a roll like that!

Hooray for company fairness! That's pretty rare. Once, my little sister got a dollhouse, and it came with a family...with two daddies. My sisters and I didn't get it at the time, so our parents got a bigger laugh out of it than we did. But the company hastily sent us another family. So now the family had two boys, two girls, a mommy, a daddy, and two uncles

That's really funny. I wonder how someone didn't catch that.... Very creative way to integrate them into the family, though.
