I'm glad you posted this. The setting has a good 1960s vibe to it which fits perfectly with your original series cosplay.

Thanks so much! And yeah, I like it a lot, I just wish I didn't have my purse slung over my shoulder and trash cans in the background, haha!

Dont want to sound like a lech, but FemmeSpock does the "Sexy Vulcan" thing afr more effectively than Jolene Blaylock ever could

The whole key is understatement. I mean why would someone from a race that views sex primarily as a function for reproduction dress in provocative skin tight sexy outfits?

I feel like the creators of Enterprise were just desperate to have some sort of sex appeal. I admit that I do enjoy watching Enterprise, but T'Pol never felt very Vulcan to me

d have just made T'Pol a Deltan. We've learned next to nothing about that race. They could have had plenty of room to write what they wanted, instead of just ignoring how a race has been written for four decades, like they did ehrn they turned Vulcans into hateful prejudiced assholes.
Enterprise was terribnle all around. Just make it and JJTrek into the same timeline since it violated and ignored continuity too often for it to fit in before TOS

oh god, thank you. I hated how the Vulcans were portrayed in Enteprise.
I kinda liked Enterprise (I may do a cosplay from it in the future, tbh), but I don't really connect it to STar Trek. I see it as it's own stand alone show, and I'd probably like it a lot better if they didn't twist vulcans around, and fuck with continuity, and just.. didn't connect it to Star Trek.
and fuck Abrams. Seriously.

The background does work really well with the costumes. Unfortunate that the angle of the picture and the fish-eye distortion accentuates the (hidden) arch of your back to make you look like you're wearing a maternity dress! lol I also think you should either both be looking off camera or at it, but I do like both of your expressions and that wig really is your colour!

Awesome as usual!
Your xpressions are always so in character
"They fight their war with computers" Timely episode given all the stuff going on now (NSA (hi guys!) drones and cyberwar)
BTW Don't look now but you've started something, starting to see fem Kirk and Spock all over the place.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you think so!
And god, don't get me started on the use of drones by the US government... I've been at numerous protests over the past two weeks, the influence behind them hightened because of the situation in Syria :I
And aghhh, I dunno how I feel about that. I think it's neat that I started a trend, but I honestly kinda wish that it was still just my thing

Yeah, your uniforms are spot on, but you really nail the expressions of each character!
Funny or really not so funny, they are coming out with a new drone called LARS (lethal autonomous robot systems) This drone operates itself with no human guidance. It just blows stuff away automatically.
The technology is just getting way wide.
Actually, one of the main themes of TOS is anti-technology. How many times does Kirk and crew outwit some soul stealing computer? What was the line from the episode "Court Martial?"
". . . man fading into the shadow of the machine."
It's kinda flattering when you think about it, but if you wanna take it to another level (and you happen to be in southeast Georgia) Star Trek Continues has an Enterprise bridge, Sick Bay, Briefing room etc. . . set up in a warehouse. Don't know if they let people in, but that would be beyond cool to do a photo shoot there with your crew. I mean hey you get to sit in THE CHAIR on a bridge!! Okay I know it's farfetched, but hey that would so rock!

Thank you!
Ah yes, I've heard about that. I"m not surprised at all. I believe I'm attending an anti-drones rally within the next week (I'm in a couple different activist groups in my city, so I have a rally or two every couple of weeks)...
And I always appreciated that about TOS.
I heard Vic Mignogna likes pretty girls. Maybe if we all just show up at the warehouse in costumes, he'll be super seduced and let it happen. I'M TEMPTED TO WRITE A LETTER OF REQUEST, TBH. Even though I'm no where near Georgia, or even the southeast of North America (I live in the southwest part of Canada. Pretty much as far west as you can get. Like, I can see the Pacific ocean from my window.)

That's good you know what's going on. Most I meet don't care and even more don't want to know. Not exactly the m.o. the founders had in mind for the republic.
Wow, you'd have to travel a ways. I don't know Vic from Adam, but maybe if you schmooze him they'll let you be extras or something in the next one they film. Stranger things have happened.
Hey you all look the part, know TOS cold, have awesome uniforms, maybe you should open a hailing frequency to him.
If you can't get in STC, then maybe they'll let you in to take a few pics. That way you'll always have something with you and your crew on a seriously awesome Enterprise bridge! That would be so hard core!!
Certainly a long shot, but you never know . . .
Enjoy the view

Well, my dad was in politics for a while, so he taught me the basics when I was 6, and I went on from there
And ugh, I would. I'm not really interested in being in the show, I just want to take pics ;(

Looks like you got a good deal. You learned early and well. I got what I needed years and mucho bucks later, but it's worked.
You seem to have a pretty good eye for sets, background etc . . . so if you never find your "Enterprise" you'll probably make out well anyway.
Still, seeing you all on the bridge would be fascinating! Trek On!

Thanks so much!
It's hands down my favourite cosplay. However, I think I'm going to remake it.. I'm such a perfectionist, there's tiny tiny little details that are upsetting me about it. I think I'm such a perfectionist with it though because Star Trek is my baby, and when I was a kid, the characters were pretty much my only friends, lol (I lived in a small town, and there weren't many kids my age. The few there were weren't into the same things I was).
I'm definitely reshooting it asap though :3

While looking at the picture for some time (it becomes like one of those hypno spirales after a while - only cuter) I had a hilarious idea.
Spock to viewer: "How many fingers?"
Kirk to viewer: "Chose your answer wisely, creature!"
calculations.
