Description Someone reminded me today that I haven't added a new Much Ado teaser in a while...sorry about that! It's getting harder and harder not to spoilerise the story. Unlike with Hamlet, I don't think Much Ado's story is quite so well known...so I wanted to be a bit careful.

Anyways, I thought I'd show something intriguing, so here you go! I hope you like the look of it...ah, how brief the happy moment between these two is. What COULD she be saying? ^_~

As with all of the Much Ado pages, this is the property of myself and SelfMadeHero.

Kill Claudio. I love that scene. It's the best and most honest one of the entire play. Love it!

It's so cool. I would totally buy a much ado about nothing manga....Do you just have the random pages?

Ooo twelth night would be good too. It already reminds me of being a manga type story with all the confusion and gender swapping.

Well you should totally check out the Manga Shakespeare series. My Much Ado is just one of the adaptations in the line. You can buy them from most shops or from amazon. Just search my name or Manga Shakespeare on amazon ^_^
There are 14 plays in all drawn in comic form!

I'm afraid I don't have a release date yet, and just realised you're in the US - so it mayyy be a little later there unless you import. Do you go to the NY comic con at all? I'm heading there this time and am doing a manga shakespeare signing on Saturday morning...I could show you some sneaky peeks

So, do you use Manga Studio?

Great piece nevertheless ^^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

emmav In reply to CaseyCorrupted [2009-01-04 10:57:59 +0000 UTC]

I do ineed. I draw everything on paper and then scan and ink in manga studio. But I'm also using non-MS tones sometimes by importing them in and using them as you would use a digi tone in Photoshop. I kind of meld stuff ^_^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CaseyCorrupted In reply to emmav [2009-01-04 19:43:42 +0000 UTC]

. . . . I will now pretend to understand what you just said ^^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

emmav In reply to CaseyCorrupted [2009-01-05 12:13:44 +0000 UTC]

haha- oops, sorry! You mentioned Manga Studio so I guessed you had used it yourself.
I draw everything out with pencil on paper, then I scan it and ink it in MangaStudio. I then tone in MS as well, but sometimes I will use other tone sheets that you can't get in MS. I do that by importing them onto my page and using them the way you would a manual tone...cutting and placing. ^_^
