Gwen Stacey was shocked at home badly her home world had been destroyed by the Thanos of her universe. He had utterly decimated it and destroyed everything in his path. She knew this would be the last time she was on her Earth but it didn’t make this any easier.

She searched for any sign of life, any sign of people and all she saw was death and destruction. New York was near enough obliterated, London was in ruins and Paris was still on fire. Yet she and her group of dimensional heroes had tried to do their bit, but seeing New York like it was hurt.

She and her allies moved through downtown Manhattan and looked for any sign of life. There was none after the first hour of searching. Gwen was close to giving up when she heard what sounded like rock music coming from the near enough destroyed Madison Square Garden. Iron Woman and a few other heroes made an opening in the roof and Gwen, Spider-Man and the rest made their way inside. What she saw warmed her heart up.

There were over a thousand people in there waiting to be rescued. She spotted Mary Jane and her bandmates, looking bloody and beat up but still there, she saw Captain America of her world, and then she saw her father George Stacey.

He was battered, bruised and bloody but he was there and smiling when he saw Gwen. Her group informed everyone that they were getting them all off this wasteland and onto crafts to take them to a new universe where they could be safer than here.

The survivors filed out of the ruins of Madison Square Garden and onto the vessels that Dr Strange had brought. Once all survivors were on board. Gwen did one final sweep of Manhattan to see if they had missed anyone. There was no sign of life. She signalled for the craft to depart and it entered the portal that Dr Strange had created.

Gwen, Spider-Man and Iron Woman made their way to their portal knowing that across this universe allies were trying to rescue anyone left and bring them to her new universe. She just hoped there were people left to be rescued.
