I'm a huge fan of the souls series, so it feels pretty good to finally get a fan art piece up in appreciation of those games.
There are so many great designs to work with from those games, so rather than mull over the options endlessly, I went with one of the most well known charaters: Solaire
"Praise the sun"
I went with a somewhat weary Solaire for this one.Β I figure a man so obsessed with the sun would be less than 'Jolly' come nightfall.

I found your post here by doing a reverse Google search. These "Dark Souls Fans" pages are stealing peoples' artwork and photoshopping or cropping out the signatures. Maybe I'm wrong and you gave them permission, but the removal of your signature was the red flag. Protect your work with watermarks!

hehe I love the oppressively melancholy vibe of the souls games.Β Even the voice acting is subdued, and it all just adds to the feel of the world.Β It comes off as a completely joyless and gloomy world, and I LOVE it.
