I'm having problems with my scanner nowadays, but I was able to get todays doodle scanned at least...Ever since epsisode 26 of Sonic X I've been fascinated... no, Touched by the way Chris views Sonic as the older brother he never had.
I'm well aware of the fact that he's not the Only 1 who views Sonic in this fashion, but Sonic X focuses mostly on Chris' POV.
This is my first shot ever at trying to draw Sonic as a human and I'm pleased with the outcome. ^^ If u look closely you'll notice that I tried to make him look as much as Chris' older brother as I could.
..wonder if I should ink and color this...

Me too but... I was thinking of the opposite tho... Have Chris become a hedgehog because me thinks that that would be a lot cooler... Sonic teaching him how to use his new found powers and such like... I was writing a story about it.

I have Absolutely nothing against your art, It's superb. Chris Thorndyke is a Sad, Lonely kid who never had that closer friend. However it was Wrong to bring Sonic into that Position. Sonic is a Wandering Spirit, Forever clashing with (What used to be Robotnik, but that is now long gone to the Japanese) Eggman. Instead of seeing the Obvious Brotherly relationship that most fans already agreed with, Sonic X (And it's respective Parties) Added a human "Side-Kick" to appeal to the Audience that apparently saw Sonic the same way Chris did. By the Way, How would Sonic get Any form of Super Speed with such weak biological components? Sonic is a Lot better off Without Chris.

That's what i do see in Chris's point of view Sonic does look like a big brother so cute and i think Chris will see Fire Diamond as the big sister he never had in his life.

When I first caught sight of this in the preview, I seriously thought it was Ryoko Hakubi from Tenchi Muyo with Chris Thorndyke.
Anyway, this is a good realization of what Sonic would look like as a human. Nice work!

Honestly, I hate Chris. He hogged all of Sonic and friend's screen time. He must die with all of the other humanoids put in the show that took a bigger chunk out of it then they needed to. DDD<

Hehe, to be honest I agree. I got incredibly fed-up with that myself, but obviously I made this pic BEFORE the series had gotten that far.
Saying that the ''humanoids'' need to die is a bit silly though since that would apply to Sonic and co as well.
But yes, they went at Sonic X with a completely wrong mindset when it came to all the unneeded focus on the human-world in general.

I love the bond that Sonic and Chris,it's like a bond between bothers and close friendship.In a way its undescribable but you know their bond is strong ^_^
