Wow, that's so awesome! I believe Koi is supposed to represent strength, isn't it? Well, in this case the way they're draw reminds me of one of the pices symbols, and the yin yang is created so beautifully.
Probably a stupid question to ask, but the dark and white spots, are they supposed to be eggs? I know the spots are supposed to be included on the yin yang as part of balance, but the detail on them in this particular picture also reminds me of eggs. Perhaps this tattoo presents power, balance, and fertility?
It's a really beautiful piece. Probably my favourite presentation of koi ever.
