Appearance: Saffire stands at 8ft tall much taller than most humans and on par with Violar and Jorgal. With flowing brownish red hair and piercing red eyes which remain from her corruption of the Draken Saffire stands out as different, while her Angelic visage is beautiful to look at something about her often puts people off. Her shining aura as well as been known to turn red in anger again like the days of her being a Draken commander. She now wears a custom forged armour in the same design of her mother and her wings have taken a golden sheen rather than stark white like the other angels her old dark black organic armour having been destroyed. However she still carries her spear that she used in the Draken wars, its matt black surface constantly shifting and some have even said that it emits voices, and screams...

Personality profile: Saffire is very withdrawn. Not usually talking or spending time with anyone outside of the command decks, meetings and training that she partakes in. Most mistrust her, both due to her past and also because of her character. Truth be told Saffire hates herself, she hates what she was turned into and now has to fight everyday to keep herself sane and going. telling herself that in the end things will work out doubt swamps her mind and while she maintains a stern outside which is inspiring to work under she does not interact with those outside of such duties for fear of revealing her misgivings. While she has confided in her brother and also her mother and father Saffire is less concerned about the fact that others mistrust and haven't forgiven her, but the fact that she is mortified that despite everything she does, she may never forgive herself.

Background: Saffire is known as the Princess of the Union and was supposed to herald a new era of unity amid the Draken war. Sadly Saffire became an instrument in the Unions destruction, and her true origin belays a much darker path. Saffire is known as Myrics child, but this is not the case. She is in fact Soteks daughter, a child of an affair the Empress had with the demon. She is unknowing of this fact, and while she has always suspected that Myric is not her real father her mothers genetics were dominant enough to hide Soteks genes in appearance. Stolen by Sotek as a child Xanthos corrupted the young child into an instrument of the Draken, using her to fight alongside Sotek and the other commanders to destroy the Union during the Draken war. Twisted to hate her parents and all those under them she relished butchering on large scales, burning worlds, massacring millions of people and hunting down renowned Union commanders. When Xanthos was destroyed and Sotek switched sides Saffire followed with the Drakens control over her shattered, realising with abject horror what she had been formed into Saffire tried to kill herself on the spot. Stopped by her mother the next few decades were a traumatic rebuild of Saffire into the women she is today, publicly forgiven by the populance to an extent Saffire still wrestles with the doubt and the darkness in her mind and while she was promoted to Knight commander of the forces, Saffire has only really been close to her brother Kahalin. When Myric delegated her to oversee the Ancerious section of the Union Saffire relished the opportunity to prove herself and regain the trust of those below her. But instead found a cruel irony. James Hargun, the Admiral and commander of the Union in Ancerious had been the one to fight her after she had personally butchered the world his family had resided on. Saffire herself had gutted his wife and child and when Hargun found out all he could do was swallow his utter hatred and cede authority to Saffire. With the Union commanders in Ancerious angry and distrusting of both Saffire and the Emperors decision only time will tell what happens, either way Saffire is still determined to defend the Union at all costs and regain the trust of her fellow commanders. All the while Sotek stalks the stars of Ancerious fighting back the forces of the Draken in an effort to ease his daughters mind from knowing that the evil that once enslaved both of them that they had destroyed may not be so dead afterall...
